I am so not in "school mode".
Spring Break, in which I experienced neither Spring nor a Break, was far, far too short for me. It pissed down rain the entire time, I had to wear a sweatshirt outside and confine myself indoors. I had to drive in the rain—windows up, wipers on, road friction: zero. I worked for my employer then I worked for my Dad and then I did some work on an essay for school.
And then I got sick. Fever, headache, bodyache, and lots of mucus, all just in time for the sun to come out.
Oh yeah. Good times.
I come to your now from the main library, since my Internet hasn't worked in my room since I returned.
I have one writing assignment due tomorrow, an essay on Friday, and an extra credit quiz to take in the next 24 hours.
But I found out today that managed to make an A on my Poli-Sci test, without bothering to really study at all.
::Does springtime dance of victory::
I am feeling so lazy though. All I want to do is go get a mango smoothie downtown, sprawl out on a bench and watch people go by. Stare at clouds. Read something that's not for a class. That sort of thing.
But I currently have no money and no time. I really should be focusing on getting back into the swing of things anyway.
Sigh.
(Quote can be attributed to Sonam, my eastern religion teacher. Entertaining guy, I must say.)
