Hey, Chuck Close is that guy how sort of paints by number right? You know what I mean. He puts all different colors in these little squares and then when you look at it from a far it looks good. Am I thinking of the right person?

Yes, but the work of his that *I* really like are his pre-70's super realistic heads.
