Jenna's House of Idiosyncrasies Version 10.0 [Focus.]

A pointless list - stolen from Livejournal, naturally

January 16, 2005 - 3:11am

Copy the first sentence (or in certain cases, first paragraph) from your first entry of each month in 2004.

January - Charleston was good. Saw 5 shows in three evenings (3 Dockstreets, a Tinkers, and a Will), shopped a little, and wondered around the charming part of the city by myself at length. It was definitely a long-overdue vacation and I felt I got a whole lot out of it without having to do too much. Very relaxing.

February - I slept better last night than I have in a really, really long time.

March - The beauty of Georgia. Not even a week ago it was snowing. Not even two days ago I had to keep my hands in my pockets to keep them freezing into chunks of ice and falling right off my arms.

April - Friday morning I got up and went to work, and there was Big City Bread for breakfast, which was awesome, but we were also slammed, which was not so awesome. I was also majorly stressing about a test I had that afternoon. I had stayed up really late studying, so besides feeling totally unprepared I was falling-down tired. I clocked out, went down to the Taco Stand, ordered a few tacos and some sweet tea and studied, studied, studied. It was all for naught, however, because when I went to take my test, I discovered that I basically knew nothing. So we'll see how that score comes out.

May - I know you and I don't have the greatest relationship right now (truly, I doubt your existence most of the time!) but if you make this art school thing happen for me, I promise nothing else but to make you and everyone down here damn proud.

June - After everything that happened, I ran to Winder to basically hide out for the weekend. As much as I hate Winder, it still produces that coming home feeling, that comfort zone.

July - Between this gentleman's excellent tutorial and my new MT paid support, I have gotten my new MT3D installation (mostly) up and running.

August - Hottness. Weekend has been good so far. I really can't believe it's only Saturday (Sunday morning?), because it seems like so much time has gone by since I clocked out of work at 6 yesterday.

September - Today has been excellent. I think it is largely due to this hat.

October - Friday, my plan was to quietly eat my dinner, and wait around until someone else found me something to do. This is how I begin many Friday nights. Sooner than expected, the Indian rang up me up, inviting me to come hang with him at the rockstar's birthday, at an establishment offering two things: pizza, but more importantly, beer.

November - Today, I practiced my right to vote. I am part of the system now, as flawed as it is. In celebration, I made an election day mix.

December - Jen (12:29:37 AM): I like your font because it's like, so you, and when you type I can totally hear you voice saying like, "hmm ok"
